IVsource provides an overview of now-available documentation of the final CHAUFFEUR 2 demo of automated trucks at the IVECO proving ground in Balocco near Turin on May 7, 2003.  The article also includes a look at the program deliverables.

Here’s a quick overview of documentation of the final CHAUFFEUR 2 automated truck demonstrations, all of which is now available on the web.  The event took place at the IVECO proving ground in Balocco, near Turin, Italy, on May 7, 2003.  A look at the program deliverables is also provided below.

Videos of the trucks in action, presentations made by key researchers, and posters prepared by technical experts are all available for download from this site, excellently prepared by project administrator Dr. Joachim Irion of Irion Management Consulting.
